Fire equipment training is a critical component of workplace fire safety and a mandatory requirement under OHS/WHS) legislation for most Australian businesses. Proper knowledge of fire safety equipment can be the difference between controlling a minor incident and facing a major emergency.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently and effectively to workplace fire emergencies. Through hands-on training, students learn proper techniques for deploying fire blankets and operating fire extinguishers using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep).

Upon completion, participants will possess the competence to assess fire situations and take immediate action to control small fires, fulfilling regulatory compliance while empowering employees to actively contribute to workplace safety.
